Who do you want to be when you grow up?
It's your time to shine.

As students near the end of their junior year of high school, panic often sets in.

  • Have I done enough to prepare for college?
  • How do I know which college or program is right for me?
  • Where are my friends going?
  • Will they even let me in?

Let's take some of the panic away. We will work with you to develop a testing and application timeline which takes into account your academic strengths and achievements as well as your professional aspirations. Coaching for high school students will involve working with parents, students, and (when appropriate) teachers to address gaps in college preparations, the completion of financial aid applications, and determining the best course of action. As part of these services, admissions essays are prepared, interview questions presented, and occupational aptitude assessments completed.

When is the best time to start? Now! The earlier a workable plan is developed, the more comprehensive it can be. Realistically, we recommend starting during the freshman or sophomore year, though we have also worked successfully with students in their junior and senior years, as well as students who have already left school and were interested in pursuing higher education and career training.

(Side note: If your child is still in pre-school, you may be jumping the gun just a bit. However, I'm sure we can still work something out. )

Reviews

Saved!

“I was able to spend more time on my writing and research with the help that Dr. Kat provided. I'm not necessarily a technophile, so having her help with my formatting and learning the tools available to help make my life easier saved me so much time and frustration.”

Worth every penny.

“Without Dr. Kat, I wouldn't have finished my dissertation on time or gotten through the ETD (electronic thesis and dissertation) review process at my institution. Well worth the investment.”

— B.T.

Got into my first choice!

“I started working with Dr. Kat at the end of my junior year and I'm so glad I did! I just got my early acceptance letter to my first choice college (Go BLUE!), and it's all thanks to her help.”
